Convert Access without license for Access

Post by treinbert »

I would like to convert one database, but the license of Access is expired. During the start of the program it is constantly trying to get teh license for MS Access. I cannot breakout of this.

Kind regards,

I don't know how the converter was written so I can't say for sure, but...

Years ago, Access's database format was the default for Microsoft Developers. They Distributed components such as DAO (Data Access Objects) which were able to read/write access .mdb files.

It might be possible to uninstall Access, then find and install the latest version of this library set.

Or if the database isn't big, you might be able to get someone here to run the converter on it for you using the text file option as an intermediary.
