Dear all
this may be useful to some people.
Problem - I printed some documents from PDF files to a set of JPEG files (one per page), but I found that the photos on the document pages were too dark and 'contrasty'.
Solution - Eventually, I found a solution to this...
1. Open the PDF document in Adobe Reader program.
2. Go to File, Print..., to open the Print dialog.
3. In the Print dialog, click the Advanced button.
4. In the Advanced dialog, tick the 'Let printer determine colors' box, OK.
5. In the Print dialog, carry on as normal. Click OK to print the document. Bullzip will open the File Save dialog as usual, then save the JPEGs.
I found the colors in the resulting JPEG files are now perfect, the same as the original PDF. It fixed the problem.
It may be useful to include this in next Bullzip documentation update. I know it's not really an integral part of Bullzip, just a 'tip' for people printing images from PDFs in Adobe Reader, but I think it would help some people and save time if they ever have this problem.

Re: Solution to Dark Pictures printed from PDF to JPEG
I had a similar color issue creating PDFs and followed your suggestion. Found that disabling ICM worked even better than assigning it to printer rather than system. HOWEVER, I cannot seem to save this setting and have to reset it every time. Any suggestions?
Thanks -- I have other alternative procedures to create PDFs; but this is by far my favorite.
