CMYK Colorspace output

I am trying to get bullzip to output a PDF file in the CMYK colorspace.

I started with version 6.0.0.865, because that was what I had installed. It has an option in the advanced dialog for setting colorspace to CMYK. Everything seems to work, but when I open the resulting PDF file in Acrobat, it is in RGB colorspace.

I then upgraded to the current version 7.1.0.1181. This has the same option for setting the colorspace to CMYK. But when you change it, and click OK on the advanced dialog, and then re-open the advanced dialog, the setting has reverted to RGB. So you can't even get the CMYK setting to "stick" long enough to make a CMYK PDF file.

Has anyone managed to get bullzip to produce a CMYK PDF file? If not, does anyone have any suggestions for a PDF printer that can do this?

If it matters, this is on a vista 64 machine.
