Problems with AutoCAD Wipeouts
Creating PDFs from AutoCAD drawings using Bullzip is mainly very good but I have a problem when the AutoCAD drawing includes an xref that is partly covered by a Wipeout. For some reason Bullzip creates a dense grid of lines over the area of the Wipeout and makes that part of the drawing unreadable. When I use the AutoCAD 2008 dwg-to-pdf printer I do not get the grid of lines over the Wipeout area, however AutoCAD's PDF quality of some fonts is poor compared to Bullzip and their pdf files are generally inconveniently larger. Besides, I just like using Bullzip - it's so user-friendly. Can anyone suggest how I can avoid the grid of lines over Wipeouts, please?
Re: Problems with AutoCAD Wipeouts
I have the same issue and have had to handle this situation by creating a TIF image with BullZIP. Then I use a free program called PDF Fill to convert the TIF image into a PDF. The files are larger than I would like.
If BullZIP had this ability, I would donate.
I emailed them about this and they never responded.
