PDFPrinter minus-hyphen

Post by AsTech »

Hi all,
I have a problem with the PDFPrinter: during conversion of the provided xps-document to a pdf all minus-hypens (u+002D) are replaced by soft-hyphens (u+00AD). This is really bad, because when you copy/paste (in adobe) from the generated pdf negative numbers loose their sign which is replaced by a line break. I tracked down the problem to postscript which seems to replace the characters. There should be an option "reencode" to avoid this. But I don't know, how to tell the PDFPrinter to use this option.
Do you have any idea?

Hi,

You could try to use the PDF printer with the XPS driver option.
