Hi,
I have a word document with roundabout 100 pages. When i'm using the pdf printer i get four SaveTo-Dialogs. The first box appears before the whole printing-job from Word is finished. Is there an option to tell the PDF printer that he has to wait a little bit more? In the past i have used the appending feature because i got only two pdf per document but with four pdf files per printjob it is a little bit annoying.
Thanks for your help.
Greetings Nagu
P.S. Does anybody know the path for the temp-files created by pdf printer ? My problem occured today the first time, so perhaps i only have to delete some garbage files?

Re: My Document is splitted in multiple pdf
Hi,
I should only create one PDF per print job. Some how i suspect that Word sends 4 print jobs in your case. You could pause the printer and check the printer queue before you start the printer again. That way you should be able to see how many jobs you have waiting in the queue.
Regards,
Jacob

Re: My Document is splitted in multiple pdf
Hi,
Confronted to a similar issue with Excel, I made some search about your problem in newsgroups to find only relevant information for the Macintosh Word version.
(New section with informations about page size and orientation may generate separate printjobs)
I was not able to reproduce in the Windows version.
Have you tried to find which cause the split ?
- differences in the document
- by elimination (deleting the first page of the secont print job to check if it postpone the split etc....)
Regards.
