Permission to Comment!

Post by Lester Lane »

Hi,
I am editiing the settings.ini and am struggling to be allowed to edit/add comments to my pdf. I have set bits 3,5,6 (comments),& 12. So the Permissions I have set to 63732 (61632 + 4 + 16 + 32 + 2048). I also note I only get 150dpi printing too. What do I also need to do please?

Have set the Owner and User password and keylength.

Also - Does the PDF have to be encryted as well as setting password? I want my Google Desktop to be able to read within the file and if it is encrypted there is no chance.

Hmm, no response but persevering...

I have just opened a pdf someone sent me with no password and was able to add comments to it. How is this set up using Bullzip please?
