Invalid Signature - Digital Certificate

When you print to PDF with the option to digitally sign the document, the signature is invalid in the PDF document.
You get the following error:
The range of bytes of the signature is invalid.

What could be happening?
Someone else has gone through this?

Are you signing with a .pfx signature file?
