Problem: Cannot copy text from the result pdf files

I printed some pages (web and .doc files) using BullZip PDF Printer, then viewed it by Foxit PDF Reader, but I could not copy the contents.

Using Text Viewer tool of Foxit, I saw nothing but a collection of $,(,),#,%,etc

I don't think this problem was caused by Foxit because I have tried other pdf viewers, and got the same result. Moreover, I tried to use CutePDF Writer and things worked correctly: I could copy the contents (and could view them using Text Viewer as well)

Please tell me how to solve this problem. Have I had some wrong settings for BullZip PDF Printer, or is this problem caused by the program itself?

You set Owner password but Permissions do not allow User to Copy to clipboard (?)

Same problem here. It seems that texts are print as images. I use FoxIt PDF Reader and the Search tool doesn't work. It can't find the words I search for, even if if they are there for sure. Also, it can't copy texts to clipboard as h1volt3 mentioned.

However, when I use other virtual printers, such as PDF995, everything works fine.

Hi,

I'm not able to reproduce the problem. Please send me a link to the web page that you are trying to print.

Jacob

The problem is solved :)
It turned out to be a bug of Foxit Reader. I was using an older version of Foxit Reader (2.0.2007.1606) which caused the problem
I've downloaded the newest version (2.2) on its website, and it worked fine. I can copy the text now :)

Thanks :)
