Problem rendering colors

I just upgraded to 7.0.0.928 to fix a Ghostscript error when merging documents. Now, colors of excel charts (ms office 2000) are noticeably different the the resulting PDF (both on screen and print copy). If I use another application to create the PDF, the color is fine. Also, if I then use BullZip to merge the resulting PDF with other PDFs, the color remains good. Any ideas? I would like to continue using Bullzip, rather than alternatives, because I think it has the best balance of ease of use and flexibility/power. The difference in colors reminds me of the old days when some graphics cards displayed only 256 colors.
