So far, BullZIP is awesome! I've managed to get it mostly tied in to my Access app, but I see still more work ahead to make it really solid.
My app is intended for "smaller" church offices to perform typical church-type recordkeeping, and is distributed free of charge (free for a download ... if someone needs a CD burned, I ask them to defray the cost by sending $10 ... but the software remains free).
At present, there are many (maybe over 1,000) churches using the app. Most have a single user (usually the Pastor or their spouse), although some may have 2 or 3 users (it's a somewhat limited app and intended for "smaller" churches).
Most users barely have computer skills. It's possible for me to direct them to the BullZIP web site if they want PDFs, telling them they must download and install BullZIP (along with Ghostscript) on their own. But I see support issues if this were the case because of the limited technical knowledge that's generally out there.
An alternative is for me to bundle BullZIP and gslite.exe along with my app (which also uses Inno Setup for installation) and do the whole job for them.
Is this allowed? Again, my app is distributed (and supported) free of charge.
Thanks...
