Problems with installation

I run XP Home. I installed the PDF converter earlier today, and it installed without incident. When I first tried to use it, just as I told it to convert, my computer crashed and now won't progress past the windows loading screen. The flash drive I had plugged in developed a number of new folders and according to other computers I plugged it into, now has a virus. I hadn't downloaded anything else recently. Now I'm not blaming the product, especially at this stage when I can't even determine if it is a computer virus that is causing the computer to crash, I just wondered if there is a precedent.

Hi Greg,

It seems highly unlikely that the printer installation had anything to do with the crash.
