Arguments invalid problem during installation

Hi !

I am getting the "Invalid Arguments" error message during the driver installation phase of the latest Bullzip version 6_0_0_702 on a German Vista Ultimate x64 SP1. This error is followed by a "Could not complete this process" (Error 0xe0000003) error message.

I have already found a few hints in this forum but nothing helped. I tried to rename the INFCACHE_1 file, did not help. I tried to install a printer manually, the printer list is there. Also, the two commands from the log file:

printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /ia /m "HP LaserJet 8150 PS" /f "C:\Windows\inf\ntprint.inf" /u
printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /if /b "Bullzip PDF Printer" /f "C:\Windows\inf\ntprint.inf" /r "BULLZIP" /m "HP LaserJet 8150 PS" /z

also work fine if I call them manually from a commandline.
What else can the problem be ?

Hi,

I had expected that one of the following two lines would cause the problem:

rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /ia /m "HP LaserJet 8150 PS" /f "C:\Windows\inf\ntprint.inf" /u
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /if /b "Bullzip PDF Printer" /f "C:\Windows\inf\ntprint.inf" /r "BULLZIP" /m "HP LaserJet 8150 PS" /z

but you say that they run without a problem from a command prompt. Please confirm this.

What is the text in the installation window when the error occurs?

strange, I tried those two commands again now and this time they did not work. Instead I got those two error messages mentioned in the first topic.

First one: Invalid Arguments
Second one: Process could not be completed (Error 0xe0000003)

Any solution ? Thanks !
