Access Database not appearing in MySql

Hi I am of first time use of this program, and I am relatively inexperienced when it comes to databases, I ran a the program to covert an Access Database into MySql and when I run MySql I cannot find the database that I converted, I ran a show databases command on MySql and this database does not appear. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? Thanks!
