Hi,
I'm using BullZip and find it very useful and convinient to use. Thanks for the great product.
However a problem I face with Bullzip is that a PDF which would normally be very small in size becomes quite large when sent to the printer.
For example; a PDF 90.1KB in size (4 pages), when sent to the printer becomes 5.54 MBs. I have noticed this in all my BullZip PDF printouts.
I use BullZip at work and have to do my printing via a network printer. The large files sent over the network sometimes causes the printer to jam.
Is there a way to reduce the file size sent to the printer?

Hi,
I have tried to reproduce the problem. However, I was unable to do so. Here is what I did:
1) Added a local printer (HP Color LaserJet 4550 PCL) and made it print to a file.
2) Opened a PDF using Adode Reader.
3) Printed the PDF to the new printer.
The file size was 156kb compared to the 16kb of the PDF.
Which type of printer are you trying to print to? Can you reproduce my example?
I have done my test on a Windows XP 32 bit system.
Regards,
Jacob
