problem reading file created by BullZip

Just installed Bullzip PDF printer. With a "printer friendly" web document, I select print, select BullZip PDF Printer, check "print to file"... file is created without automatic pdf extension. When I try to open the resulting file I get the message: "There was an error opening this document. File does not begin with '%PDF-'" It's trying to open using Adobe Reader 9

I can open the document with Acrobat Distiller which then creates a pdf file which is readable. But, how do I go from BullZip to pdf with the intermediate step os using Distiller?
