Hi!
Unfortunately I couldn't find a setting or a workaround.
Since the last version of bullzip pdf printer the length of file names is cut.
Before it didn't matter how long they were: now it's cut after 27 characters.
THe former version allowed loger names (especially important if you like to read articles offline which have longer headers for identification reasons).
Installing the newest beta (v6...) didn't solve the problem.
Additionally German Umlaute (ä, ö, ü) are not correctly shown.
Do you have an idea how to solve it?
Thanks
Roland

Re: issue with file name lentgth and German Umlaute
Hi Roland,
Does this happen when you use the <docname> or <title> macros in the file name? I can reproduce the ü problem with the <title> macro.
What is the file name setting in the options dialog in your setup?
Regards,
Jacob

Hi Roland,
I recreated and tried to fix the umlaut problem. You can download a new gui.exe at the link below:
http://www.bullzip.com/files/gui667.zip
Let me know if it fixes the problem.

Hi Jacob,
that's great!
Thanks a lot. Umlaute are shown correctly now.
And you're right with the macros I use. I have to read a lot more about it to understand which macros I need to have longer filenames.
btw: Sometimes filenames start and end with round brackets ( ). I couldn't find out when but this happened also before the new gui.exe version.
Thanks a lot!
