Multi Merge a.pdf | b.pdf | c.pdf???

Hello,

I'm trying to use the multi merge and it's not working. I have even saved the doc's with the names a , b, and c with no luck. It keeps telling me the file does not exist. I've entered the format numerous ways, with spaces taken out etc. Any idea what I may be doing wrong?
