PDF background in vector

Post by Droid1618 »

Hello,
So far i've used bullzip with a lot of success, but i've run into the following problem: i'm trying to use my company's letterhead as a background for the PDF files i print from Word. The letterhead is a PDF file which contains only vectors. However, when i use it as a background, it seems to rasterize the letterhead file, causing the final PDF file to have lost all vector data.

Is there any way to conserve the vector data?

Thanks!

Hi,

Sometimes vectors are rasterized. I'm not sure what the pattern is. Usually you will get the best results and performance if you create the background PDF with the Bullzip Printer also. I have seen that some backgrounds created with other PDF tools will slow down the PDF creation.

Jacob
